Creative Kindness…

Sit with a creative group and create cards, pictures and all sorts as well as having a friendly chat. Times are between 0930 – 1030 hrs every Thursday in the Central Library. I will sometimes attend depending on what shift or what job I am on. 🎨🧵🧶🖼🎭

Please note that due to the nature of our role as officers, sometimes situations occur that are beyond our control, therefore, if we are not at an advertised event, it is because we were called to an emergency that sometimes does not give us time to contact WM Now and such like to cancel an event.

WHAT’S HAPPENED?

Officers have been engaging with One Stop on Belgrade Plaza and CGL.

We have been out walking in your area and chatting to you.

We have seized vehicles in your area that have had no insurance or tax in a bid to make your roads safer.

Further arrests have been made for attempted robberies and thefts.

E-bike operations take place on a regular basis and our officers seize a substantial amount of these bikes. 6 E- Bikes were seized in and around the City Centre in one of our Operations this week.

Please be mindful with Christmas upon us to keep your vehicles locked at all times. Please do not leave money and such like around.

St Michaels Team 1 have also been busy this week working on a joint operation with immigration to speak with food delivery drivers to make sure they are not being exploited. During this operation, 6 illegal E-Bikes were seized, with one of those being capable of going up to 60 Kmph.

Business Crime week has had a positive outcome with a total of 6 Lock ups of offenders being charged and Remanded.

Please make sure your Bags of all kinds are zipped up at all times when you are out and about.
